Bacalar Lagoon

Seven colors.
One calm.Bacalar Lagoon and Lagoon of Seven Colors at MÍA Bacalar

The Lagoon of Seven Colors is not only seen—it is felt. From our private dock, water, light and silence create a more natural way to be present.

Inspired by water.
Defined by care.

On the shores of the Lagoon of Seven Colors in Bacalar, Quintana Roo, fresh water shifts tone with depth and light: from the lightest turquoise to deep blue—seven shades on a single surface. It is not the sea; it is a serene lagoon with a white sand bottom, considered one of the purest bodies of water in Mexico.

This corner of the Pueblo Mágico of Bacalar holds something older than any journey: life that has inhabited these waters for thousands of years. Arriving here means entering a different rhythm, where hurry stays on the shore.

From MÍA, the lagoon is not a distant view. Our private dock opens directly onto the water—the place where every sunrise, every paddle stroke and every pause before the blue begins.
